Jack Draws Anything

Jack used real feathers (from Mum’s craft box) and glued them on. He used the pointy part of the feather as the beak and drew on legs. He tried to use the same colour birds as Angry Birds.

First of all, yes, it is the real David Tennant (the 10th Doctor Who as Jack knows him). David is Jack’s first Doctor Who (and Mum’s favourite) so they are both very happy.

Thank you to Sara and the guys at Hodder Children’s Books they managed to speak to David as he did a voice–over session for an upcoming book. He had not heard of Jack Draws Anything but once he found out more, he was more than happy to get involved. David has kindly requested a picture of a Scottish Dragon.

As you can see Jack made it blue & white like the Scotland Flag with traditional Scottish ginger hair. Finally the dragon’s eye is red and yellow, like the other Scotland flag–the Lion Rampant.

David also signed a Doctor Who postcard for Jack (which arrived yesterday).

A huge thank you to David for his support and for making a little boy (and Mum), SUPER MEGA happy!

Jack received an email from Justin (via Juliette who works for him at Scrumptious House) asking for a picture of Mr Tumble, the very popular children’s character played by Justin himself on the kids TV show Something Special.

Jack, Toby & Noah LOVE Justin & Mr Tumble. Toby especially was very excited to hear that Jack was drawing for Mr Tumble!

Justin and his team also sent a signed card and DVD to both the Sick Kids and Jack, thank you very much for that guys.

Jack’s Grandma & Grandad recently returned from a holiday in Liverpool and knowing how much Jack liked bees, brought him back a wee cuddly toy. It is now one of Jack’s best friends. Sarah had originally requested something else from Jack but unfortunately due to the huge demand in pictures, Jack couldn’t do it in time. Instead they asked Jack to draw anything he wanted so Jack jumped at the chance to do his new pal.
