A message from Jack’s Mum & Dad

Sick Kids Hospital for Rachel McKenzie (Sick Kids Friends Foundation)

Hi, this is Jack’s Mum & Dad. We just wanted to add a wee note to explain Jack’s idea.

Over the past few years, starting age 3 months, Jack’s youngest brother Noah has been admitted to the Royal Hospital for Sick Children (in Edinburgh, Scotland) on 20+ separate occasions. Each time staying for at least one day and sometimes up to a week.

Noah is 14½ now but requires immediate medical attention and admittance to the hospital, sometimes he is admitted to the HDU (High Dependency Unit) when his condition is very bad.

(This is of course in addition to Jack, Noah and his other brother Toby requiring the care and attention of the Sick Kids for their own less serious mishaps.)

This website, this idea, this fundraising, is Jack’s way of saying thank you.

Jack came up with this idea entirely on his own, unprompted by us. He:

Thank you for visiting Jack’s website and we hope you will help Jack and many others by supporting this very worthwhile causeEdinburgh Children's Hospital Charity (previously The Sick Kids Friends Foundation).
