Janette’s brief was:
I would be so happy if you would draw me a picture of my cat Spooky. He’s all black with a white front and paws.
With a name like Spooky, it was only bound to get Jack’s mind ticking over. We hope you like it!
As a little reward for getting to 6000 Facebook fans, Jack is more than happy to let everyone have a little sneaky peek of his new book. You can see one of the pages that will appear in Jack Draws Anything (out October 6). It is the Chapter 5 title page called "Jack Around the World" and features "cartoon Jack" with his 5 pencils. Following on from Jack, Toby & Noah’s visit to Fire Brigade HQ, we forgot to include this picture Jack drew for them. They asked for special picture that they could use to fundraise some more. Jack’s special unnumbered picture will be raising even more money for the Sick Kids Friends Foundation.
Jack was asked to draw something suitably themed so had no hesitation in drawing his Grandad’s old yellow fire helmet which Jack has in his room. Jack’s Grandad retired from the Fire Service a few years ago and gave Jack his helmet. At the time, Jack was a baby and was his only Grandson, now he has 4 (and one grandaughter).
