Neil asked Jack to draw his favourite place in East Lothian. Jack’s answer was the brilliantly named Grinding ring and balls. This is situated right next to Cockenzie Power Station and forms a sculpture / symbol for the community. It is a 10 foot diameter mill ring and weighs around 7 tonnes. It is flanked by six 28 inch balls each weighing a tonne. Phew.
Jack likes it because he made a model of it for a school project and likes to go there and play, run around and play football.
