So it turns out Jack was on Russell Howard’s Good News tonight (BBC3). I’ll be honest, we knew nothing of it until our friend Jo sent us a tweet. I was about to go to bed and I was turning off the computer when TweetDeck, Google Mail and JustGiving went absolutely bonkers.
In the space of 30 mins we have:
- 70+ new Facebook fans
- 30+ new Twitter followers
- 38 donations on our JustGiving website plus the promise of more in the morning
- Increased our fundraising total by about £300
Big thank you to Russell Howard, Mark Iddon and all the team for a lovely surprise and for helping our cause. Jack, Toby & Noah are all tucked up in bed but I will tell them what happened in the morning. I was so excited I woke up Rose (Mummy), she wasn't happy but was OK once I explained why.
