Bart Simpson being airlifted from the top of Cockenzie Power Station by a helicopter for Nancy Patterson

Gail asked for YOUR favourite thing to which Jack’s reply was his usual hedgehogs!. I suggested a little variation on his usual hedgehog at which point Mummy piped up with the news that today was Sonic the Hedgehog’s 20th Birthday.
Sonic is a game Jack likes to play and after a long discussion about how a character could have a birthday when they were not alive or born he settled on Sonic.
Enjoy!

Jack decided to create little tunnels from light brown paper using the black as under the ground. Once he cut out all his tunnels he glued them and then drew ants and leaves. He wanted to draw a King ant but we chatted about how the Queen is in charge (more learning with this one, thanks Wikipedia). The Queen has a little crown and a leaf for a pillow.

Janet’s original brief was Angels and sunshine which if you look closely enough, he has done. However herein lies the danger of letting a 6 year old interpret it (or the fun, depends which way you look at it).
Jack has decided to use Weeping Angels (from Doctor Who), one of his favourite bad guy aliens. He recently watched Blink for the first time and was super scared he was hiding under the cushions on the couch.
So there you go, 3 x Weeping Angels playing catch with the Sun. Janet we hope you like it and hope its not too far off what you envisaged.
