Jack Draws Anything

Happy 21st Birthday Ali. We hope you don’t mind too much that Jack added a secret stick of dynamite to your chocolate covered Smartie birthday cake (can you spot it?)

Jack’s third attempt at doing a picture with pastels. He particularly liked combining the brown/orange/yellow pastels to create the lovely colours found on a Highland cow. If you peek closely, you can just see the wee mouse in the long Scottish grass.

The butterfly is Jack’s second foray into the world of pastels. He has given it 6, 3 and 2 spots to represent the ages of himself and his two brothers, Toby and Noah.

Isla is 6 and lives in Italy. This is Jack’s first time using pastels. He loved them, he loved all the colours and he loved smudging! This is a picture of the sun setting over Fife in Scotland as seen from our window in East Lothian.
